The 1600 Communications Foundation was founded and incorporated in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a non-profit 501c3 entity to administer the Scholarship Program and veteran related charitable support of the membership of the 1600 Communications Association.
The 1600 Communications Foundation Scholarship Program was established by Colonel McNally, the first commander of the White House Communications Agency, at the time he started the 1600 Communications Association. Over the course of many years, thousands of dollars in scholarships have been awarded to Association members, their children, and grandchildren. Our commitment to help our members and their families achieve their educational goals continues today. The program today recognizes students who have excelled academically as well as members of their community.
We are proud that we have been a part of the success that so many of our awardees have achieved over the years both professionally and through their contributions to society.
Donations to the Foundation are used to fund the Foundation’s Scholarship and Veteran related charitable activities.
